HRANA News Agency – Ten prisoners in Adel Abad prison were executed because of alleged retribution and drug-related crimes.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), 10 prisoners, 7 of whom had been accused by drug related crimes and 3 others with “Retribution” were executed in Adel Abad prison, in Shiraz.

It should be mentioned that, the executed prisoners’ identities are not known and official media or informed organizations have not been notified any information in this regard.

According to annual report (2014), by Department of Statistics of Human Rights Activists in Iran; about 61% of executions in Iran are carried out without formal notification by the judiciary or internal publications.
