Prisoners of Quarantine of Zahedan Prison on Hunger Strike

HRANA News Agency – Quarantine prisoners of Zahedan prison are on a hunger strike to protest at the lack of adequate food, as well as many other problems. Prisoners say, “We are treated like animals.”
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), poor conditions and lack of adequate food and starved prisoners in Zahedan prison has been to the extent that the quarantine prisoners has begun a hunger strike and other prisoners are asking for help from the wider international community because of numerous grievances. The Bail Put for Peyman Aref Being Forfeited

 HRANA News Agency – According to the issued notice by Branch 1 of the law enforcement of Evin Prison, Masood Olyaee sponsor of Peyman Aref was required to introduce him to the judicial authorities in the next 30 days. The notice states that in the absence of Peyman Aref, the bail will be forfeited in favor of the Islamic Republic of Iran.

At Least 13 Arab Civilians Arrested in Ahwaz

HRANA News Agency – At least 13 Arab citizens have been arrested or summoned on the anniversary of protests of Arabs in Ahwaz in April 2005. The fate of some of the detainees is not known.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), security agencies in the Khuzestan province have arrested or summoned a large number of Arab citizens in different cities of the province to prevent any gathering and the possibility of holding the anniversary of protests of April 2005. Ayatollah Boroujerdi in Critical Health Condition in the 11th Year of Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Ayatollah Seyyed Mohammad Hossein Boroujerdi, a prisoner of conscience in Evin Prison at the beginning of the eleventh year of his imprisonment without medical care and even a day of leave is being held in special section of Evin prison for clergies. It has been said that a new case has been opened for him.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ayatollah Boroujerdi who had been arrested in 2006 and sentenced to 11 years in prison and also confiscation of his property, is held in ward 325-A of Evin prison, the special ward for clergies with various diseases and without medical care. HRANA News Agency – Hussein Ronaghi Maleki, ill prisoner in Evin prison is on the 19th day of hunger strike in protest to his situation. He was medically examined by the specialist in the clinic of Evin prison and the doctor has ordered him to be hospitalized in a hospital out of prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), by the request of the prison authorities, a doctor came to the prison clinic and after the examination called for sending Hussein Ronaghi Maleki to a hospital outside the prison for treatment. Behzad Dhabihi Still in Solitary, Despite Bail

HRANA News Agency – Behzad Dhabihi is still being held in solitary confinement in the Ministry of Intelligence detention facility in Sari, although bail has been granted and paid.

4 Prisoners Ended their Hunger Strike in Ardebil Prison

HRANA News Agency – By improvement in the situation and promises by the Ardebil prison authorities, four prisoners of conscience detained in this prison ended their hunger strike.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Morteza Parvin, Mustafa Parvin, Saeed Sadeghifar and Saleh Pichganloo, four Turkish activist who were on the 6th day of their hunger strike in separate calls with their families said that their condition had modestly improved and they were transferred to the general ward’s rooms and prison authorities had promised improvements in their situation so they have ended their hunger strike.
