HRANA News Agency – At least seven prisoners were executed in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, and there is still no news about one other prisoner.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the death penalty of at least seven prisoners was implemented in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj. HRANA News Agency – Saeed Sangar political prisoner is still being held in Orumieh prison in the 16th year of his imprisonment in spite of having parole and even his furlough request has not been answered yet.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Saeed Sangar who was transferred again from Sanandaj prison to Orumieh Prison last September and at the beginning of the 15th year of his imprisonment, is eligible for parole in accordance with the law, however, continues to serve in the prison of Orumieh. HRANA News Agency – Mostafa Azizi and Payam Bastani Parizi, two political prisoners were released by the supreme leader’s pardon for celebration of March 31st (Islamic Republic day). Mr. Parizi was lashed 30 times before being released.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mostafa Azizi, prisoner of Evin prison, and Payam Bastani Parizi, prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison, were released on Saturday April 9, by the supreme leader’s pardon. HRANA News Agency – Political prisoners such as Seyed Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, Amir Amrgholi, Saeed Shirzad, Afshin Baymany, Masoud Arabchobdar, Farid Azmodeh, Iraj Hatami, Behzad Tarahomi, Saleh Pychganloo, Mostafa Parvin, Saeed Sadeghifar and Morteza Parvin are on hunger strike in various prisons around the country with various demands. According to prisoners’ families in some cases they refuse to drink water. Hussein Ronaghi maleki’s father is one of those who has begun strike in support of his son in front of Evin Prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Seyed Hossein Ronaghi Maleki, Amir Amrgholi, Saeed Shirzad, Afshin Baymany, Masoud Arabchobdar, Farid Azmodeh, Iraj Hatami, Behzad Tarahomi, Saleh Pychganloo, Mostafa Parvin, Saeed Sadeghifar and Morteza Parvin are on hunger strike. He was sentenced to 5 years in prison earlier and had gone on hunger strike in the solitary confinement and is in need of medical attention.

Hussein Ronaghi Maleki’s Father on Hunger Strike in front of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency –  Ahmed Ronaghi Maleki after the third day of a hunger strike for justice for his sick son Hussein, who is on  the seventh day of his hunger strike in Evin prison, announced in an interview with HRANA that the authorities had intended to kill Hussein. He said also that he was arrested for a few hours in front of Evin prison on April 11, 2016.
Ahmed Ronaghi Maleki announced in an interview with HRANA: “The situation of my son is very serious and needs medical treatment, but no one is taking the responsibility.
