64-year old prisoner sent back to prison without medical treatment

HRANA News Agency – An elderly Sunni prisoner of conscience was forced to remain handcuffed to a hospital bench throughout his 12-hour stay in hospital yesterday, before being transferred back to Iran’s Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj without receiving medical treatment.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), 64-year old Sunni prisoner Keykhosrow Sharifipour, whose health is deteriorating rapidly due to lack of medical treatment, has been suffering from an unknown illness leaving him confined to bed and unable to eat for the past 17 days. HRANA News Agency – Afshari family is seeking help from Human Rights Organisations to save their children. They have two sons on the death row and the third one sentenced to imprisonment for political activities.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Afshari Family sent a letter to HRANA seeking help and attention of all Human Rights Organisations for their sons Habibolah Afshari, Ali Afshari and Jafar Afshari. According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Arjang Davoodi has been serving 10 years so far and was recently sentenced to death because of his activities inside the prison. He realized that he is suffering from high blood sugar and lipid while he was transferred to the clinic but because the devices at Rajai Shahr Prison are not working he has not received proper medical treatment yet.
