I Will Do Nothing for Jafar Azimzadeh, Even if He Dies: Tehran’s Prosecutor

HRANA News Agency – Abbas Jafari Dowlatabadi, Tehran’s prosecutor after accepting to meet the wife of Jafar Azimzadeh, secretary of the board of the Free Trade Union of Workers in Iran imprisoned at Evin Prison on 59th day of hunger strike, told her that he would do nothing for her husband even if he dies, yesterday.

Behnam Ebrahimzadeh Begins the 7th Year in the Prison

HRANA News Agency – June 11 was the anniversary of the arrest of Behnam (Asad) Ebrahimzadeh, imprisoned labor activist in Rajai Shahr prison and he has begun his seventh year in prison. His initial verdict has ended long ago and he is now serving a sentence to which he was sentenced in the prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), while Behnam Ebrahimzadeh’s sentence of 5 years was finished on August 1, 2015, Tehran Appeals Court sentenced him to 7 years, 10 months and 15 days in prison and 4our hundred and fifty thousand Tomans, by reducing the sentence of nine years and 6 months in prison. He is charged with “gathering and colluding to commit crimes against internal and external security” and propaganda against the regime. 1 Kulbar Killed and 4 Wounded by the Border Guards

HRANA News Agency – On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, a Kulbar was killed and four others were seriously injured after being shot by border guards in Salmas.

Saeid Shirzad in the 3rd Year of Imprisonment

HRANA News Agency – Saeid Shirzad, political prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison, who is beginning the third year of his imprisonment, is waiting for the decision of the appeal court since 8 months ago.
