2 Civilians Summoned to the Intelligence Ministry in Kamyaran

HRANA News Agency – On May 21, 2016, Shoeleh Goudarzi and Rojin Ibrahimi, both from Kamyaran were summoned and interrogated at the Ministry of Intelligence of Kamyaran due to participating in the celebration of May Day.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), following the detention and interrogation of several citizens from Kamyaran, two others were summoned and interrogated at the Ministry of Intelligence, too. Greenhouse Owners Protested in Gilan Province

HRANA News Agency – Greenhouse owners in Golkhaneh town in Gilan province, a project which began 14 years ago to create jobs for agricultural graduates of this province in 130 pastures of hectares of bison herds of the three villages in the region of Kishestan Somesara in the first phase, in a demonstration called for the support of authorities.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), a budget of about 2000 billion IRR for the construction and commissioning of Golkhane town in Gilan was allocated in 2002 and the project was supposed to be built in an area of 400 hectares in three phases of manufacturing, export terminal, research center of plants and greenhouse so that agricultural graduated youth in the province and country could start their jobs there. A Brief Report on the Repression of Labor Activists on the May Day

HRANA News Agency – In attempting to hold a May Day celebration across the country, at least 12 workers were arrested in different cities of Iran and four others were summoned, as well as many of the gatherings were prevented by the security guards or police forces.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), trade unions and active institutions in the field of workers have announced the arrest of at least 12 people and 4 labor activists being summoned to the security forces.  A number of detainees were released and there is no information about the fate of several people. A Koolbar Shot Dead by the Police

HRANA News Agency – Last Wednesday a young Koolbar was shot dead, by the police forces, on the Uremia border to Turkey.

Behnam Ibrahimzadeh Transferred to Ward 2 of Rajai Shahr Prison

HRANA News Agency – Behnam (Asad) Ibrahimzadeh was transferred to ward number 2 (Dar Al Quran) as a punishment, following tensions in ward number 10.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), following the disagreement of a prisoner with Behnam Ibrahimzadeh, imprisoned labour activist, he was transferred from ward number 10 to ward number 2 of Rajaei Shahr prison, as a punishment. Rasoul Bodaghi Arrested by the Security Forces

HRANA News Agency – Rasoul Bodaghi, trade unionist who had been recently released from prison, was arrested by the security forces when he went to hospital to visit Mahmoud Beheshti Lageroodi, Imprisoned teacher who is in hospital.

Mahmoud Beheshti Langroodi Transferred to a Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Mahmoud Beheshti Langroodi, imprisoned teacher in Evin prison, was taken to hospital on May 7th.

Ali Akbar Baghani Exiled to the City of Zabol

HRANA News Agency – At the same time with the “Teachers day” in Iran, Ali Akbar Baghani, Vice-President of the Teachers Union, who was recently released from prison, in continuation of his sentence was exiled for 10 years to Zabol city in Sistan and Baloochestan province.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Ali Akbar Baghani, Vice-President of the Iranian Teachers’ Trade Union, who had been sentenced to one years imprisonment and 10 years exile to Zabol city, in the case of 2010 by branch 26 of the Revolutionary presided by Judge Pir Abbasi, on charges of propaganda against the regime, was sent to exile. Mahmoud Beheshti Langroodi Transferred to the Clinic of Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mahmoud Beheshti Langroodi, imprisoned teacher in Evin prison, was transferred to the clinic of Evin prison following a hunger strike which led to the sharp drop in blood pressure.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mahmoud Beheshti Langroodi, imprisoned teacher in Evin prison, was transferred to the clinic of Evin prison at 1 am on May 5, 2016 following a hunger strike and because of a sharp drop in blood pressure and in the morning of May 6, 2016 was again returned to the general ward. Mohammad Jarahi in need of Medical Treatment in Tabriz Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Jarahi, labour activist and trade union member who is kept in Tabriz prison, is not in a fine health condition, and has been deprived of proper medical treatment.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), physicians of Tabriz prison’s clinic are evading from treatment of Mohammad Jarahi who is suffering from high blood pressure, high blood sugar, blood lipids, and neck problem.
