Four Christians arrested in Isfahan

HRANA News Agency – Four newly converted Christians were arrested in separate operations by security forces and transferred to a detention centre controlled by Ministry of Intelligence and National Security in Isfahan.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), in the morning of 2 September, 2014, Ministry of Intelligence and National Security forces raided Hamid Reza Borhani and his wife’s- Zeynab Akbari- house in Isfahan and after searching their house, confiscated their personal belongings and arrested both of them. Security forces tried to arrest a resident of Isfahan

HRANA News Agency – Security forces of Esfahan City went to Molok Rohani’s house to arrest her on Monday morning.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), On 1st September, security forces in Esfahan went to Molok Rohani’s house to arrest her. A Christian citizen arrested in Isfahan

HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Taslimi, new Christian convert, resident in Esfahan, has been arrested by security forces in this city and was transferred to the detention center.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on Monday 1st September, security forces went to the house of Mohammad Taslimi, new Christian convert in Esfahan. Sunni prisoner prevented from seeing his family for more than 4 years

HRANA News Agency – A Sunni prisoner of conscience awaiting execution in Iran’s Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj has been prevented from having family visits for more than four years.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shaho Ibrahimi, who is married and has a daughter, has been unable to see his family for the past four years, with the authorities failing to give permission for him to receive family visits. Farhad Eqbali begins 5-year sentence in Gorgan

HRANA NEws Agency – Farhad Eqbali, a Bahai resident of Gorgan, reported to prison on August 27 to begin serving his 5-year sentence.

Two Bahais arrested in Shiraz

HRANA News Agency – On the morning of September 1, security forces arrested Mr. Shahram Mansour at his home, and transferred him to the Ministry of Intelligence’s Facility 100 in Shiraz.

Psychologically ill Sunni prisoner held for 3 weeks in solitary

HRANA News Agency – A Sunni prisoner with psychological illnesses has been held in solitary confinement for more than three weeks in Iran’s Ghezel Hesar prison, after he was beaten by prison guards and removed from his prison ward.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Sunni prisoner of conscience Seddigh Mohammadi, who suffers from psychological illnesses, was subjected to a brutal beating by guards within the prison on 12 August 2014, leaving him with horrific injuries. Farhad Eqbali begins 5-year sentence in Gorgan

HRANA News Agency – Farhad Eqbali, a Bahai resident of Gorgan, reported to prison on August 27 to begin serving his 5-year sentence.

A citizen is arrested for connections with Christians

HRANA News Agency – On Wednesday, August 20, 2014, Yosef Hassanzadeh was arrested for his connections with Christian organizations abroad.

Majid Tavakoli and Riaz Sobhani return to prison

HRANA News Agency – Majid Tavakoli and Riaz Sobhani have returned to Rejai Shahr Prison at the conclusion of their three-day furlough. Both prisoners were granted a leave on August 23 and required to report back to prison on August 25. Their requests for an extension have been denied.
