A women’s rights activist still under arrest after 58 days

HRANA News Agency – After 58 days one of the women who attended the gathering to support women’s attendance in Azadi Stadium to watch volleyball tournament is still in detention.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on June 20th, a group of Iranian women and girls gathered at south western entrance gate of Azadi Stadium to support women’s attendance to watch volleyball matches in this Stadium which faced the violence of police. (more…)

Eighty-one days in solitary confinement without trial -Saba Azarpeyk

HRANA News Agency – Saba Azarpeyk, a Reformist Journalist who was arrested 81 days ago, is still kept at solitary confinement with no clear vision of possible trail date.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA) in Iran, Saba Azarpeyk was arrested on Wednesday morning, May 28th, 2014 by security forces and was transferred to an undisclosed location. (more…)

Negar Haeri begins to serve her imprisonment sentence

HRANA News Agency – Negar Haeri, Mashallah Haeri’s doughter, has been arrested and transferred to Shahr Rey Prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mrs. Haeri was sentenced to 1 year in prison by the branch 26 of the revolutionary court of Tehran and has been arrested to serve the sentence. (more…)

HRANA News Agency – A woman has been hanged in Rajai Shahr Prison of Karaj on Saturday May 10.

Medical negligence and jaw problem for Sedigheh Moradi

HRANA News Agency – Sedigheh Moradi the prisoner of Evin prisons women ward is suffering from toothache and jaw’s problem.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), this 51-years-old political prisoner, who suffered from severe pain got severe discomfort jaw and teeth but because the prison doesn’t have dentist she should be sent for treatment outside the prison, however, officials are turning to the cause of sending her to the doctor elusive. No medical treatment for Zeynab Jalalian

HRANA News Agency – Authorities of Diesel Abad prison of Kermanshah, rejected medical furlough request of Zeynab Jalalian, who is at the verge of blindness.

 

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), in response to bad physical condition of Zeynab Jalalian, prison authorities promised to send her to medical furlough one month ago.

 

Nevertheless, few days ago, she was informed that her request is rejected by security services and she cannot take any effective procedure.

 

This prisoner has been suffering from bad health condition, especially visual problem and recently has lost her sight.

 

Zeynab Jalalian was arrested by Kermanshah intelligence and security forces, in 2007, and first sentenced to death, and then to life prison.

 

This political prisoner has been under severe pressure and had gone to hunger strike several times.

 

Needed to be mentioned, earlier on a published report by media, reason of vision problems of Zeynab Jalalian was stated as stroke during interrogation.
