HRANA News Agency – Security forces in Ardabil have arrested a citizen on charges of “connections with Israel and religious conversion,” as reported by Fars News Agency.
According to Fars, the detainee was accused of “misusing social media to support Israeli actions and promoting deviant beliefs after converting from Islam.” The report described the individual as an “agent linked to Israel.”
The arrest was carried out by the Ministry of Intelligence under a judicial order.
