HRANA News Agency – Seven political prisoners with a life sentence in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, have been held since 12 to 23 years ago without furlough in the prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), seven political prisoners, namely Mohammad Nazari, Karim Maroof Aziz, Omar Faghihpour, Khaled Fereidoni, Said Masouri, Afshin Baymany and Hamzeh Savari, respectively, have been held for 23, 20, 17, 16, 16, 16 and 12 years and have a total of 120 years of imprisonment. The List of Male Prisoners with the Charge of Muharebeh and Life-Time Sentence
HRANA News Agency – Prisoners who have been charged with Muharebeh according to the old Penal Code, would find the chance of a retrial, after the changes and may receive reduction in their sentences or be released. Currently there are tens of prisoners who have been sentenced to life-time prison on charge of Muharebeh, at least 26 of whom are the men. The following list is the second list of prisoners with the charge of Muharebeh.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), at least 26 male prisoners are sentenced to life-time prison on charge of Muharebeh in different prisons around the country. Due to the changes in the Islamic Penal Code in 2013, these prisoners may request for a retrial. Some might receive reduction in their sentences and some others who have served many years in prison may get released. 3 Prisoners Returned to Prison / One Sent on Furlough
HRANA News Agency – Two ill prisoners, Afif Naimi and Karim Maroof Aziz returned from the hospital to Rajai Shahr prison. Also, Asghar Qattan, other political prisoner, returned to the prison by the end of his furlough. On the other hand, Farhad Beiruti, political prisoner, was sent on leave from Mahabad prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), two ill prisoners from hospital and one prisoner by the end of the leave returned to Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, and one political prisoner was sent on leave from Mahabad prison, on June 8, 2016. HRANA News Agency – Two political prisoners, Karim Maroof Aziz and Vahid Asghari were released according to the leadership’s amnesty.

The List Of Over 80 Political Prisoners In Rajai Shahr Prison In Karaj
HRANA News Agency – The following list includes names, warrants and charges of more than 80 political prisoners, prisoners of conscience and security in Rajai Shahr prison which has been prepared by the reporters of HRANA.
A diverse range of prisoners charged with political, conscience, military and security allegations are being held in Rajai Shahr prison. Although many of these prisoners are kept in separate rooms in Hall 12 but a large number of these prisoners are being kept also between non-political, criminals and sometimes dangerous prisoners unlike the principle of separation of crimes. 2 political prisoners returned from hospital to prison
HRANA News Agency – Karim Maroof Aziz and Mashallah Haeri were returned to Rajai Shahr prison from hospital.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Karim Maroof Aziz and Mashallah Haeri, two political prisoners of Rajai Shahr Prison, who were recently referred to Medical Centers, out of the prison, were returned to the prison. Karim Maroof Aziz returned to prison right after heart operation
HRANA News Agency – Karim Maroof Aziz, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr Prison, was returned to prison before finishing his treatment time period after an open heart surgery.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Karim Maroof Aziz, 74, political prisoner in ward 12 of Rajai Shahr prison, was transferred to “Imam Khomeini Hospital” on Sunday 28th September because of heart problems.
