HRANA News Agency – Shahram Ahmadi and Arash Sharifi, the 2 Sunni prisoners of ward 350 of Evin prison are in critical health condition.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Shahram Ahmadi who had already lost his left kidney is in critical health condition because of the infection of his right kidney.
The authorities have done nothing for the treatment of this death row prisoner.
Shahram Ahmadi, born on September 23, 1987 had been arrested on April 26, 2009 and was kept for 33 months in the intelligence detention center. Although he denied the charges he was sentenced to death on charge of supporting Salafi groups by branch 28 of Tehran revolutionary court.
His brother, Bahram Ahmadi and 5 other Sunni prisoners were hanged in Ghezelhesar prison on December 27, 2012.
Arash Sharifi, the other Sunni prisoner is suffering from Keratoconus in both eyes and the doctors have told that he has almost lost his left eye while the right one is also in very critical condition. The doctors say he must have corneal transplants immediately. However after 6 months the intelligence ministry and judicial officials have not allowed him to have the necessary treatments.
His eyes are so weak that he is not able to read books from the distance of 15 cm.
Arash Sharifi, the son of Tofigh was born on January 22, 1990 in Sanandaj and has Persian literature diploma.
He had been arrested on July 12, 2011 by the intelligence agents and was kept in the intelligence detention center of Sanandaj for 1 year.
Afterwards he had been transferred to the Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj and after 15 months he was sent of Kashan prison. After serving 3 months there he was sent to ward 350 of Evin prison.
He has been sentenced to death by branch 28 of Tehran revolutionary court on charge of supporting Salafi groups although he has been denying the charges in the court.
Arash Sharifi suffers also from Asthma and there were reports published about his critical health condition before.
