HRANA News Agency – Afshin Hossain Panahi was arrested in Dehgolan town in Kurdistan by the security forces and transferred to an unknown location.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the security forces of Kurdistan province arrested Afshin Hossain Panahi at his house and transferred him to an unknown location.
A family member of Mr. Hossain Panahi told HRANA’s reporter, “The security forces has searched the whole house and seized some of his personal accessories”. This informed source continued, they did not show any permission, court order or warrant, and said “security forces has beaten Afshin while arresting him”.
Need to be mentioned Afshin Hossain Panahi who has the cooperation with environmental activists groups and organizations on his record, spent one year in Gharveh prison on charge of propaganda against the regime, for following up his brother’s murder case.
During past weeks some local press mentioned the arrests of three other relatives of Mr. Hossain Panahi by the security forces. However, it is not clear whether these arrests are related to each other or not.
