HRANA News Agency – Seyed Ali Akbar Mousavi Qoheh, civil activist, was transferred to Evin prison to serve his 1 year imprisonment by the security police of Pa’kdasht city.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Tuesday evening, 25th August, Pa’kdasht security police officers with an arrest order from Evin Moghadasi court went to this civil activist’s house and arrested him and transferred him to Evin prison, on Wednesday morning, 26th August.
Ali Akbar Mousavi had been arrested in 2011 by the Ministry of Intelligence and later was released on the bail from ward 209 of Evin prison.
This prisoner already had been arrested along with a number of members of Ashooei Association, in 2009, in the aftermath of the presidential elections but finally no prosecution warrant was issued for him.
This political activist was sentenced to 1 year imprisonment on charge of spying in the Revolutionary Court Branch 15 by Judge Salvati and the sentence was precisely upheld on the appeal in Tehran County.
Doctor Seyed Ali Akbar Mousavi, 39, is a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Tehran and Master in International Law from the University of Payam Noor.
