Ali Moradi transferred to solitary confinement

HRANA News Agency – Ali Moradi , a Political Prisoner at Minab Prison who was arrested after being beaten because of his complaint, has been transferred to solitary confinement and his condition is concerning.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Moradi a Kurdish Prisoner at Minab Prison has been transferred to solitary confinement since 09 November 2014, and does not have access to warm clothes and blanket at his cell.
A well informed source told HRANA reporter: “Ali Moradi has been transferred to solitary confinement without giving a blanket and also was prevented to take his cloths to the cell. According to the latest reports, Ali Moradi sleeps in his cell wearing only underwear. Prison guards even refused to provide him with food.”
With regards to his transfer this source also added:” Ali Moradi was beaten by prison guards after he complained about the negligence of medical treatment for another Political Prisoner and then transferred to solitary confinement”.
Ali Moradi was arrested in mid-February, 2004, by security forces in “Kani Diyar” village, a rural district of Marivan in Kurdistan state. He has been sentenced to 30 years imprisonment and exile to Minab Prison on the charge of Enmity with the God through cooperation with a Kurdish opposition party.
He has a history of heart problems and has been transferred to the clinic of the prison or hospitals outside the prison on several occasions due to heart attacks.
He was also imprisoned for 5 years on the same charges since 1998.
