Ali Salanpour urgently transferred to hospital

HRANA News Agency – Ali Salanpour, who was earlier prevented from getting treatment in Medical Centers outside the prison by the Prison Observer Judge order, following a critical physical condition, was urgently transferred to hospital.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ali Salanpour, Political Prisoner of hall 12 at Rajai Shahr Prison, in Karaj, was returned to prison from Shohadai Tajrish hospital by Khodabakhshi’s order (judge concerning political prisoners) about 2 weeks ago, without completing the treatment.
One of the prisoners of Rajai Shahr Prison told HRANA’s reporter, “On Wednesday when Ali Salanpour was suffering from a severe pain had gone to visiting room to meet his family, suddenly fell and after that for several days he had to crawl because of the pain intensity. Until Monday, 24th November due to a severe deterioration in his condition, that made him partially paralyzed, he was transferred to prison medical centre by his friends’ help on a stretcher and then they decided to transfer him to hospital. Finally, at 1 pm they agreed with his transfer as emergency to Hezar takhtekhabi Imam Khomeini hospital.”
Ali Salanpour was arrested on 19th December 2010, and in the Revolutionary Court with charge of “acting against national security through supporting MEK” was sentenced to 5 years in prison.
