Arash Sadeghi Is Still in Solitary Confinement

HRANA News Agency – Detention order for Arash Sadeghi, who has been held in suspended condition since 4 months ago in solitary confinement in ward 2-A of Evin prison,  was extended for another 2 months.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Arash Sadeghi was arrested on 6th September, by the Revolutionary Guard’s security forces, and was transferred to ward 2-A of Evin prison.
Then, a lot of reports was published that he is under pressure to accept an interview on television and he is still held in solitary confinement.
According to the latest report that HRANA has received, detention order for Arash Sadeghi has been extended for another 2 months.
Also, an informed source told HRANA’s reporter: “Authorities do not give any information about his case and at his meeting with his wife; prison officers were present and did not let him to talk about his case.”
It is to say, in 2009, when Mr Sadeghi was arrested for the first time, her mother had heart attack and passed away, because she panicked when the security forces raided her home at late night.
Arash Sadeghi was released from prison, ward 209, Intelligence service ward, after about 19 months being held in solitary confinement under harassment and hunger strike, on 12th October 2013, but after experiencing one whole year freedom, he was arrested again and was transferred to ward 2-A of Revolutionary Guard.
It should be mentioned that Arash Sadeghi, former student of Allameh Tabatabaei University, was arrested in the evening on 6th September 2014.
