HRANA News Agency – Arjang Davoodi, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj, who has recently been sentenced to death, was transferred to solitary confinement.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), in the morning of Sunday 9th November, political prisoner, Arjang Davoudi was transferred to solitary confinement from Hall 12 in Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj.

An informed source told HRANA’s reporter: “We do not know for how many days or for which excuses he has been taken to solitary confinement, but his last week interview with “Manoto” satellite TV network can be one of the reasons.

Arjang Davoodi who has been in prison for more than 10 years, has recently been charged with “Membership and active advocacy of MEK and supporting their goals in prison,” and has been sentenced to death.
