Ayub Asadi Deprived Of Having Family Visits In Kashmar Prison

HRANA News Agency – Ayub Asadi, Kurdish political prisoner who has been exiled to Kashmar prison, is deprived from visiting his family due to the long distance, and repetitive requests to be transferred to a prison in Kurdistan province were without any result.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Ayub Asadi, after about a year under arrest, was tried in branch number 1 of the revolutionary court of Sanandaj in August 2012, and sentenced to 20 years in jail and exile to Kashmar prison.
This prisoner served some part of his sentence in Sanandaj prison, and then was transferred to Kashmar.
His father told HRANA’s reporter that due to the long distance he could not have any visit with his son and requests to transfer him to a closer prison had been neglected.
Ayub Asadi who is currently serving his 5th year in Kashmar, was arrested by IRGC in a village in Sanandaj, in 2011. He was charged with cooperation with Kurdish opposition groups and belligerence.
