Baha’i young guys arrested to serve in military service

HRANA News Agency – Semnan intelligence agents raided the Baha’i people houses, arrested and inspected their homes with excuse of being called to serve as soldier in military.

 

According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), the Semnan Intelligence agents raided those Baha’i families who have young son not served in military yet with an official warrant signed by someone whose name is Zamani and is solicitor-general of revolutionary court then inspected all of their homes completely including the religious books, laptops, the personal belongings and handed over the arrested young guys to the police.

 

One day later in police station the arrested guys were asked to fill in and sign a form according to which whenever they get summoned they will show up. Finally they were released on bail.

 

Omid Pirasteh, Ardeshir Fanaiyan, Orakhsh Hedayati and Soroush Firouzian were arrested and got freed on bail.

 

One of the Baha’i citizens haunted to police headquarter to follow up the intention of arrests that they told him since many years ago the law of arresting the eligible ones for military service has been cancelled and the arrests of these Baha’is took place by another department.
