Behzad Arabgold Returned to Rajai Shahr Prison
HRANA News Agency – Behzad Arabgol, political prisoner of Rajaei Shahr prison returned to prison by the end of his furlough.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Behzad Arabgol returned to Rajaei Shahr prison by the end of his 7-day-furlough and rejection of the extension request by the persecutor.
Mr. Arabgol is among the arrestees of Ashura event in 2009, who was first sentenced to six years in prison by judge Salavati, but this sentence was reduced to 4 years in the appeal court.
This prisoner has been exiled to Rajaei Shahr prison from Evin prison, due to his resistance against the attack of prison guards to ward 350, during the event that is known as the Black Thursday.
According to HRANA, Mr. Arabgol who is a construction worker and has two children, had been sentenced to imprisonment without any written confession and just based on a picture, which even police forensic did not confirm that it to be Mr. Arabgol.
Need to be mentioned, most of the prisoners who had received furlough for Nowruz, have returned to prison by ending their furlough and rejection of the extension request.
