HRANA News Agency – Davar Hosseini Vojdan’s mother goes on hunger strike in solidarity with political prisoners.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mozhgan Moradpour, the mother of Davar Hosseini Vojdan who is imprisoned in ward 350 of Evin prison and was beaten by prison guards started her hunger strike in solidarity with political prisoners since April 23rd.

Said Matinpour’s wife, Abdolfattah Soltani’s wife and the family members of some other political prisoners are on hunger strike as well.

Also a number of people and political activists including the mother of Mostafa Karim Beigi who was killed in the demonstration of December 27, 2009 have shaved their hairs in solidarity with political prisoners.

Davar Hosseini Vojdan was arrested after the demonstration of December 27, 2009 and sentenced to 3 years in prison.

The intelligence agents arrested him again on December 5, 2011. He was kept in the solitary confinements of ward 209 of Evin prison and after being tried for 6 times the branch number 15 of the revolutionary court of Tehran sentenced him to 6 years in prison.
