Hassan Javani Released from Bandar Abbas Prison

HRANA News Agency – Hassan Javani, political prisoner in Bandar Abbas prison, was released on parole by the aggregation of the sentences (Article 134).
According to the report of Human Rights Activist News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Hassan Javani, political prisoner in Bandar Abbas prison, was released on parole by the aggregation of the sentences (Article 134) in August.
Mr. Javani was arrested in 2011 and sentenced to 10 years imprisonment in exile, on charges of “moharebeh through collaboration with an opposition organization”.
The political prisoner was deported to Bandar Abbas shortly after being sentenced to imprisonment.
Mr. Javani, started a hunger strike due to his transfer from ward 12 to ward 2 of Bandar Abbas prison, which has unsafe conditions on May 12, 2014.
This political prisoner suffers from heart disease and prostate problems.
Hasan Javani, who has a history of detention and long imprisonment in the 1980s, was arrested in 2011 at his latest case and was sentenced to 10 years imprisonment in exile in Bandar Abbas prison on charges of acting against national security and supporting one of the opposition groups in Branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court headed by Judge Pir Abbasi in 2011. His sentence was confirmed by appeal court.
