HRANA News Agency – Havareh Ghazali, political prisoner in the prison of Mahabad, in spite of serious disease and urinary tract bleeding, has not been sent to the hospital yet.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), in the past two days Havareh Ghazali in Mahabad prison, has had three times bleeding from the urinary tract with pain, and after a visit to the clinic, prison doctors were unable to diagnose and give right treatment, and just gave him an outpatient simple treatment.
One of the relatives of this prisoner, about his illness, told HRANA reporter, “Havareh has had a history of eye disease, too. Mahabad prison’s clinic did not have his treatment facilities and although we have provided the bail, but he has not ever been sent to the hospital and has not had medical leave.”
Havareh (Heiman) Ghazali, 24, on 4th April 2014 on charges of membership and support the Kurdish Democratic Party, was arrested and sentenced by the court to 18 months imprisonment. He is currently held in Mahabad prison along with non-political prisoners that is against the principle of separation of offences.
