HRANA News Agency – Hossain Nourani Nejad was transferred to ward number 8 in Evin prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Hossain Nourani Nejad, a member of Jebheh-Mosharekat party, who had summited himself to Evin prison on April 28, was transferred to ward number 8.
Hossain Nourani Nejad was put on trial on branch number 15 of the revolutionary court with chief judge Salavati and sentenced to 6 years in prison on June 10, 2014, but the appeal court reduced this sentence to one year in prison.
This political activist who had been arrested in 2009 as well, had travelled to Australia and when he returned to visit his wife and child, he was arrested. Previously, the government officials promised to provide the condition of returning of the political activists.
According to HRANA, the ward number 8 of Evin has become the new location of keeping political prisoners in Tehran, which is one the worst Evin wards that political prisoners are kept there without any facilities and along with other prisoners.
