HRANA News Agency – Hossein Gholami Azar, jailed cleric in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj,  has been kept under interrogation in solitary confinement in ward 8 (Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ ward) since a month ago.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Hossein Gholami Azar, imprisoned cleric in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, who was kept in ward 10 of this prison, probably, for more investigation on the relationship with political prisoners in this prison was taken into solitary confinement in ward eight of this prison, called as Iranian Revolutionary Guards’ ward, on May 11.
A source close to Mr. Gholami Azar, regarding the reason of keeping him in solitary confinement of the Revolutionary Guards in Rajai Shahr prison in an interview with HRANA’s reporter said: “It seems that Mr. Gholami Azar has been transferred to this ward just because of his relationship with political prisoners”.
The source also pointed out: “Mr. Gholami previously was kept in solitary confinement in ward 10 of the prison.”
The source close to this cleric at the end said: “He is currently barred from visit. This ward’s authorities only allow him to have once a week a phone call with his family and go to the ward’s yard.”
