Kamal Hassan Ramadan Under Interrogation for 8 Days

HRANA News Agency – Kamal Hassan Ramadan, the Syrian-born political prisoner at the Central Prison of Urmia, had been under interrogation for 8 days regarding a new accusation, after being transferred to the Intelligence Office in this city. He was returned to the prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Kamal Hassan Ramadan, Syrian political prisoner at the Central Prison of Urmia, was transferred to the Intelligence Office of the city, on December 10, 2016.
This political prisoner was interrogated for 8 days regarding “a murder in Urmia in 2006” and was returned to the prison of Urmia, on December 18.
A close source to Mr. Kamal Ramadan told HRANA’s reporter: “He was not in Iran in 2006, even he had not been a member of the PKK, which is the main charge against him.”
It is noteworthy, it had been reported earlier that this Syrian political prisoner had been held in solitary confinement for five days with handcuffs and shackled, and had been tortured and beaten during this period of time, by the Urmia prison officials, on April 16, 2016.
Kamal Hassan Ramadan, the Syrian-born prisoner in Urmia prison, was arrested by the Revolutionary Guards Intelligence office, on charge of acting against national security by cooperating with the PKK, in September 2014.
