A Kenyan Prisoner Died in Evin Prison due to Lack of Medical Treatment

HRANA News Agency – Keynes Kyngvry, Kenyan prisoner in Evin Prison died last week while serving his eight-year-sentence. An official source announced his death due to ingestion of drug while according to witnesses he had died in prison due to lack of medical attention.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), other prisoners in hall number 9 of ward number 8 of Evin prison said to HRANA’s reporter that the foreigner prisoner was transferred to the prison clinic because of high blood pressure at 6 am on Monday, April 4, 2016.
According to informed sources, the prisoner stroked and in this state he had had to be transferred to the hospital but it was delayed and basically he had died before reaching the hospital.
However, the Iranian newspaper wrote in a report with the title of “a prisoners from Africa has died in Evin prison because of opening packages containing drugs in his stomach” which according to the witnesses such claim is incorrect or at least incomplete.
