Kobani supporters gathering suppressed by security forces in Marivan

HRANA News Agency – Security forces attacked a gathering formed by citizens of Marivan  in support of Kobani and arrested at least 10 protester.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), on Wednesday 8 October, 2014, citizens of Marivan gathered in support of Kobani’s people. This gathering was attacked by security forces who used tear gas and batons to disperse protestors.
A well informed source has told HRANA’s reporter: “security forces were from NAJA Anti-Riot forces and Army of the Guardians of the Islamic Revolution (Sepah-e-Pasadaran) and they used tear gas and batons to attack citizens and to disperse protestors.”
There is no confirmed information about the exact number of arrests and possible injuries.
