HRANA News Agency – Majid Mohammadi Moin, imprisoned journalist, has been sentenced to one year in prison.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Majid Mohammadi Moin, imprisoned journalist, who has been serving his 4-year-imprisonment, since February 2011, in Evin prison, due to a new case was sentenced to one more year of imprisonment on charge of propaganda against the regime.
Mr. Mohammadi Moin,was sentenced to one year imprisonment in 2014, while he was in prison, on charge of propaganda against the regime. After he appealed against the issued court verdict, Branch 36 of the Appeals court, in the province, approved the new sentence and in recent days he was notified in prison.
Majid Mohammadi Moin, a journalist of “Bayan” and “Salam” newspapers, and director of the Economic Committee of “Young Sport Writers Association” had been sentenced to 4 years on charge of gathering and collusion and acting against national security, and since 2011 has been imprisoned.
