HRANA News Agency – Mehdi Kukhian, the civil activist living in Maragheh, has been sentenced to 1 year of prison by the revolutionary court of this city.
 
According to a report by Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the revolutionary court of Maragheh has sentenced him to 1 year of prison on charge of propaganda against the regime.
 
Mehdi Kukhian is now in the general ward of Maragheh prison where the addicted prisoners are being kept.
 
Naghi Mahmoudi, the human rights activist told to HRANA: “Mehdi Kukhian has been sentenced to 1 year of prison on charge of propaganda against the regime because of exposing the condition in the prison and details of his case.”
