HRANA News Agency – Misagh Yazdanezhad, political prisoner who was transferred to Evin Prison and held in the solitary confinement for more than three and a half months, has not been able to visit his family yet.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Misagh Yazdanezhad, who was transferred to ward 2-A special of the IRGC in Evin Prison since late October, has not been able to meet his family yet.
Misagh Yazdanezhad, political prisoner was moved from Rajai Shahr prison to the Ward 2-A on October 20, 2015.
It is said that his case was referred to branch 26 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran’s Evin prison, but there is no specific notice of the charges against him.
Previously it was announced that Misagh Yazdan Nejad had been sent to the hospital for medical treatment.
Misagh Yazdan Nejad, student of English in Payam Noor university, had been arrested by the intelligent service, on September 10, 2007, and was sentenced to 13 years in prison in branch number 15 of the revolutionary court of Tehran and also the revolutionary court of Sharh-e-Ray, on charge of cooperation with MEK through attendance in the 19thanniversary of the mass executions of political prisoners in summer 1988. This prisoner is spending his 9th year in prison.
