HRANA News Agency – Mohammad Mehdi Sajedifar returned to Evin Prison at the end of his furlough. This PhD graduate of genetic after 5 years of imprisonment on 24th February left ward 8 of Evin Prison on a furlough.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mehdi Sajedifar has spent the last five years in prison.
According to his ward mates, Mr. Sajedifar has been arrested in relation to his scientific and university connections, and under charge of “communication with the enemy states” has been sentenced to 10 years of imprisonment.
Allegedly, he had a significant role in establishing the system of recognition and identification of the corpse. His significant works include identification of corpse during the Iran-Iraq War and working with corpse identification of police forces.
Mohammad Mehdi Sajedifar spent a long time in ward 350 and then was transferred to ward 7 and later to ward 8 of Evin Prison.
Mr. Sajedifar is currently at ward 8 of Evin Prison.
