Negar Haeri Released after 10 Days of Detention

HRANA News Agency – Negar Haeri, civil activist and political prisoner, was released from Evin prison.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Negar Haeri was released from prison ten days after her arrest, on Wednesday 27th May.

There is no precise information regarding the charges and the reasons for her arrest, but according to a friend of Ms Haeri, she was released on the same bail of her prior detention and no new order has been issued.

Negar Haeri, a graduate of Law, who has a record of arrests and detentions, had been summoned to answer some questions on Monday, 18th May and was directly transferred to the women’s ward of Evin prison and then, she was transferred to an unknown location for interrogation.

In her last detention, in July last year, she was held about eight months in Shahr Ray (Gharchak Varamin) prison, in very difficult condition and along with non-political and sometimes dangerous prisoners.
