HRANA News Agency – Mokhtar Zarei, political activist from Sanandaj, was arrested at his home.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), On Sunday 14^th March, Mokhtar Zarei, political activist, was arrested at his home with a warrant of prosecution.
An Informed source in this regard, told HRANA’s reporter: “Intelligence Unit of Security forces that arrested Mokhtar Zarei, has announced his charge as publicizing a note in his personal Facebook account.”
It is to say, one month ago, he had been summoned to branch 1 of Revolutionary Court in Sanandaj, in writing.
Mokhtar Zarei, who was a member of the Democratic Union of Kurdish Students, had been arrested in the winter of 2009 during the second anniversary of Ebrahim Lotfulahpoor’s execution, and was released on the bail after 3 months.
He eventually was sentenced to one year imprisonment, in 2011.
