HRANA News Agency- Mohsen Qashqaizadeh, a political prisoner held in ward 350, announced hunger strike to protest against the lack of follow-up investigation about her mother’s disappearance, since Tuesday 10th of June.
According to “Kalemeh”, Mohsen Qashqaizadeh is uninformed about her mother’s condition during the last three weeks. According to family members of political prisoners, four weeks ago (Monday 19th April) Ms. Tooti Soltani disappeared after visiting her son at Evin Prison.
Based on the report, in the meantime he frequently asked the prison authorities and the prosecutor to follow-up his mother’s status. He has already spent 3 months of his 6 month imprisonment sentence, but his request for a leave to find out his mother’s situation, is still unanswered.
Mohsen Qashqaizadeh is one of the people who were arrested in “Saraye Qalam” on 9th of November 2012 along with a group of attendees in the meeting. He was kept for 20 days in ward 209, Intelligence ward, and later on he got 2 years imprisonment sentence.
However the Appeals Court suspended 18 months of that. Qashqaizadeh is in ward 350, Evin prison to spend the six months imprisonment since late April this year.
