Prison Guard Raids Political Prisoners’ Ward in Rajai Shahr Prison
HRANA News Agency – About 100 troops of the Prison Guards in Rajai Shahr prison attacked the hall 21 of ward 7 in Rajai Shahr prison and violently inspected and destroyed political-security prisoners’ belongings.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), 100 black troops of security guards of Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, with baton and antiriot cover attacked the Hall 21, ward 7 of Rajai Shahr and violently inspected and destroyed political-security prisoners belongings, on 14th May, at 9am.
An informed source by announcing this news told HRANA’s reporter: “Inspection Guard brutally inspected and damaged the belongings of prisoners in Hall 21 of ward 7 in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, for about 2 hours. They even tore the pillow with knives.”
The source added: “This hall with 40 prisoners is known as Kurdish political prisoners’ ward because the majority of the prisoners are Kurdish citizens with the political-security charges.”
Finally he said: “The purpose of this attack was not inspection and mostly it was for putting pressure and persecution on these prisoners because they actually found nothing.”
