HRANA News Agency – Saeid Pourheidari, political prisoner in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, has been sentenced to 5 years imprisonment.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), after that Saeid Pourheidari was transferred to Branch 28 of the Revolutionary Court in Tehran, he was notified by Judge Moghiseh of his 5 years of imprisonment, on Monday 3rd August.
He was arrested in winter when he returned to Iran with charges of activities against the national security, propaganda against the regime, insulting the leadership, and distributing lies in Cyberspace, and then after interrogation and being notified of his charges, he was transferred to ward 8 of Evin prison.
Saeid Poorheidari was arrested during the protests after the election in 2009, and after being released from the prison, he left the country and for a while lived in Turkey and US. Lateer in 2014 he returned to Iran and it led to his temporary arrest and being transferred to Evin prison. This prisoner was transferred to ward 8 of Evin prison, after his interrogations and then he was transferred to Rajai Shahr prison, in Karaj.
