Six sentenced to death prisoners of conscience transferred to ward 350

HRANA News Agency – Six sentenced to death prisoners of conscience who have been kept in the solitary confinement cells of ward 240 of Evin prison, are transferred to ward 350.

 

According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Kaveh Veisi, Mokhtar Rahimi, Kaveh Sharifi, Behrouz Shahnazari, Taleb Maleki and Shahram Ahmadi, the Sunni prisoners who have been sentenced to death, are transferred to ward 350 of Evin prison on November 21st. after 15 days hunger strike.

 

Kaveh Veisi and Mokhar Rahimi were transferred to solitary confinement in ward 240 on September 29.

 

Later on, Kaveh Sharifi, Behrouz Shahnazari, Taleb Maleki and Shahram Ahmadi were transferred to solitary confinement in ward 240 on October 9.

 

All of them were sentenced to death in branch 28 of Tehran Revolutionary court by judge Moqayyeseh on charge of supporting the Salafi groups.

 

This accusation denied many times by the prisoners and they believe they have been sentenced due to their religious beliefs and the hatred of the government against the religious minorities.
