Golrokh Irai and Atena Daemi Beaten and Exiled to Garchak Prison

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi, human rights activist in Rajai Shahr prison in Karaj, has gone on hunger strike on January 27, 2018, following his wife, Golrokh Irai and Atena Daemi were beaten and exiled. He has gone on hunger strike while he is suffering from severe illness and physical weakness.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Golrokh Irai and Atena Daemi were beaten in Evin prison and exiled to Garchak prison in Varamin on Wednesday, January 24, 2018. Golrokh Ebrahimi Irai Must Serve Another 22 Months

HRANA News Agency – Golrokh Ebrahimi Irai, imprisoned human rights activist, is still in Evin prison as well as her husband, Arash Sadeghi. Mrs. Irai has been in prison since 2016 and after a while her imprisonment sentence was reduced from 60 months to 30 months.

Golrokh Ebrahimi Irai and Saeed Eghbali Arrested by IRGC Forces

HRANA News Agency – Golrokh Ebrahimi Irai was arrested by the Sarullah Guards agents, when she was leaving her house and was transferred to the law-enforcement office in Evin prison. Mrs. Irai was arrested along with Saeed Eghbali, a friend of her husband, and was transferred to an unknown location.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), contrary to the promises of the prosecutor, Golrokh Ebrahimi Irai was arrested by the Sarullah Guards agents to endure the rest of her imprisonment sentence, and was transferred to the law-enforcement office in Evin prison. Prosecution Officials Refuse to Extend Golrokh Irai’s Furlough

HRANA News Agency – Prosecution officials refused to extend Golrokh Irai’s furlough, after her lawyer went to this office, on the other hand, for Arash Sadeghi a leave permission, with providing a title deed, was issued, but the condition of sending him to the hospital, is that his wife returns to the prison. Also, deterioration of Arash Sadeghi’s condition in Evin prison continues and he was transferred to the prison infirmary.

Arash Sadeghi Transferred to the Hospital

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi was transferred to the hospital and was admitted there four days after ending his 72-day long protesting hunger strike. On the other hand, contrary to the promises, Prosecutor’s Office has rejected extending his wife’s furlough and she has been summoned to endure her imprisonment.

A Report about Arash SAdeghi’s Medical Situation

HRANA News Agency – Arash Sadeghi, imprisoned civil rights activist in Evin prison who was on hunger strike, is held in ward 8 of Evin prison. On December 26, he was exanimated in the hospital and the doctors warned about the “risk of coma and even death,” “a serious heart condition” and “risk of a heart attack.”

Arash Sadeghi Transferred to the Hospital on the 39th Day of His Hunger Strike
