HRANA News Agency – The appeal of Mohammad Reza Aghakhani, an activist imprisoned in Evin Prison, who was previously sentenced to three years imprisonment on charges of membership in the national and religious group and acting against national security in Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court, and his sentence was confirmed by Branch 54 of the Renewal Court of Tehran, rejected by Branch 38 of the Supreme Court recently. Mohammad Reza Aghakhani sent to Evin prison after he was summoned in November last year.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Mohammad Reza Aghakhani has been sentenced to three years imprisonment by Branch 15 of the Revolutionary Court and remains in prison since November last year. The appeal court upheld the verdict, and the last appeal of this political activist was rejected by Branch 38 of the Supreme Court.
