Mohsen Shoja Released Temporarily from Evin Prison

HRANA News Agency – Mohsen Shoja, civil rights activist, and one of the arrestees during a sit-in in front of Evin prison, who introduced himself to Evin prison to endure his 91-day sentence, on 16th March was released temporarily by the approval of the head of enforcement branch on 17th March and must introduce himself to Evin prison on April 3, 2016.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), about four months ago, he was arrested at a sit-in in front of Evin prison and was sentenced to 91 days imprisonment and 74 suspended lashes in branch 1060, by Judge Farshid Dehghan on charge of “disturbing the public order through turbulence”. Mohsen Shoja Went to Evin Prison to Serve his Sentence

HRANA News Agency – Mohsen Shoja, civil rights activist and one of the arrestees of the sit-in in front of Evin prison, has self-surrendered to Evin Prison to serve his 91-day-sentence.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohsen Shoja, civil rights activist and one of the arrestees of the sit-in in front of Evin Prison, on March 15, 2016 has self-surrendered to Evin Prison in order to serve his prison sentence. (more…)

Mohsen Shoja Has to Introduce Himself to Evin Prison on March 16th.

HRANA News Agency – Mohsen Shoja, civil rights activist, and one of the arrestees during a sit-in in front of Evin prison, said that he had to introduce himself to Evin prison to endure his 91-day sentence, on 16th March.

In a conversation with the reporter of HRANA, Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran, Mohsen Shoja said: “About four months ago, I was arrested at a sit-in in front of Evin prison and in building number two of the judiciary, the Branch 1060, I was sentenced to 91 days imprisonment and 74 suspended lashes by Judge Farshid Dehghan on charge of “disturbing public order through turbulence”, and for my 91 days imprisonment sentence and suspended 74 lashes sentence, considering about 1 moth detention time, I have to present myself at Evin prison on 16th of this month”. 18 Civil Rights Activists Sentenced To Imprisonment And Lashes

HRANA News Agency – 18 civil rights activists have been sentenced to 91 days in prison and 74 lashes each. These activists were arrested on charge of disrupting the public order on November 21, 2015.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), the lash sentence of 16 activists have been conditioned in accordance with their furthered behavior for two years. (more…)

18 Civil Rights Activists Tried In Tehran

HRANA News Agency – 18 civil right activists were tried in branch number 1060 of criminal court of Tehran, by judge Taha Dehghani, and charged with disturbing the public order. Most of these civil rights activists were arrested in front of Evin prison in a peaceful protest, on Saturday, November 21, 2015.

According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Simin Ayvaz Zadeh, Reza Malek, Hashem Zaynali, Ehsan Khaybar, Adel Arouji, Mohsen Haseli, Mohsen Haseli, Mohsen Shoja, Khadijeh (Layla) Mirghaffari, Azam Najafi, Parvin Salimi, Shermin Yamani and Sarah Saei are some of the activists who have been tried and are waiting for the court verdict which is expected to be issued in few days.
