HRANA News Agency – Allah Verdi Rouhi, Hamid Meibodi and Davoud Mirzaie the three political activists who reside in Karaj have been arrested and there is no news about their place.
According to the report of the Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Davoud Mirzaie was arrested about a month ago and transferred to IRGC ward -ward No.8- in Rajaie Shahr prison.
He did not contact his family yet and his relatives say he is still under interrogation and been kept in solitary confinement cell.
On October 7, 2013 the plainclothes raided his mother’s home and arrested two more of his relatives whose names are Allah Verdi Rouhi and Hamid Meibodi.
Allah Verdi Rouhi was arrested in 2010 and sentenced to one year imprisonment on charge of contacting his son and daughter-in-law in Iraq and spent all the one year of imprisonment in Karaj central prison and then was released. He is an aged man and for the same reason suffers from many physical issues. Also he is father-in-law of Hamid Meibodi.
One of Allah Verdi Rouhi’s relatives told HRANA reporter “He has a bachelor in agricultural and is retired currently. Prostate issues and as he is an aged man makes his family very concern and if he will be for a long time in solitary confinement cell then anything may happen to him.”
“He was pushed strongly by agents and his head hit the stair which this increased the concerns of his family.”
It is worth noting Allah Verdi Rouhi and his son-in-law Hamid Meibodi were arrested in June coincide with presidential election and after a few days of interrogation in Rajaie Shahr prison of Karaj, they were released.”
