HRANA News Agency – Yousof Kakeh Mami, political prisoner in Ormia prison, has been transferred to Ormia intelligence office.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), on Monday 15 June, Yousof Kakeh Mami from ward 12 of Ormia prison was called and transferred to the Intelligence Office in Ormia.
According to one of the HRANA’s sources, Yousof Kakeh Mami was transferred to the Intelligence Office in Ormia and was interrogated for about two months last year on charges of communicating with the media and human rights organizations. Eventually, a court case was opened against him in Branch 6^th of the Revolutionary Court in Ormia, which can be the reason of his current transfer.
Yousof Kakeh Mami, is a resident of Mahabad, who was arrested in 2007 and charged with communicating and cooperating with PJAK. He was sentenced to 9 years in prison, and he was serving his sentence in ward 12 of Ormia prison, before this transfer.
