HRANA News Agency – Mohammdreza Pourshajari- a Blogger –is a prisoner at city of Karaj Central Prison. He is currently in 7^th month of his Treatment–strike and his health condition is deteriorating quickly.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Mohammdreza Pourshajari , AKA Siamak Mehr, has been on  a Treatment–Strike in protest to his ill-treatment and negligence by the Prison authorities over his medical treatment procedure  since seven months and his health condition is now at the critical stage.
His daughter, Mitra Pourshajari has told HRANA reporter “my father has refused to go to hospital to receive medical treatment in protest to the Prison authorities’ behaviour toward his medical treatment procedure.  Therefore, his illness symptoms have exacerbated.  His Diabetes symptoms have intensified during the last couple of days. His blood glucose spiked rapidly at times and he has numbness in his legs and is suffering from nausea. Also, his Heart and Lung disease has worsened and he has difficulty in breathing. My father has further ailments and the past seven months of Treatment-strike put his health condition at critical state.
Along with seven months of Treatment- Strike, unsuitable food diet especially during Ramadan affected and intensified Mohammad Pourshajari’s ailments.
Mohammad Pourshajari is a 52 -year old Blogger who was arrested on September 12^th, 2010 at his home in the city of Karaj. He was transferred to Solitary Confinement at Rajaeeshahr Prison after his arrest and has been under torture and ill-treatment during the past seven months which highly affected his physical and health condition.
Mohammad Pourshajari is being kept at the Ward Seven of Karaj Central Prison.
