HRANA News Agency – Despite the promises of officials to release Omid Alishenas on bail, recently his relatives were informed that his temporary detention order remains and he is still not allowed to meet anyone or even have telephone contact.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), despite promises to his mother by authorities to release Omid Alishenas on bail of 100 million Thomans, recently his family has been informed through a phone call that his temporary detention order still remains and he is not allowed to visit or call anyone nonce.
A close source to him told HRANA’s reporter, “Omid called once his family, and met his mother shortly after civil activists gathered in front of Evin prison on Monday 22^nd September.”
Omid Alishenas was arrested by security forces on Thursday 4^th September in Tehran and he is now held in ward 2A of Evin Prison.
