HRANA News Agency – Heshmat Numanpoor, political prisoner in the prison of Urmia, was summoned to Intelligence office and threatened with increase in his imprisonment if he would not cooperate with intelligence agents.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), last week, Heshmat Numanpoor, political prisoner of Hall 12 in Central prison of Urmia, was summoned to Intelligence representative office in this prison and after about an hour interrogation, he was threatened that he must cooperate with them, inside and outside the prison, otherwise he will be sentenced to another 10 years imprisonment.
An informed source in this regard told HRANA’s reporter, “The other political prisoners were treated in the same way.”
Hashem Numanpoor was arrested in September 2014, and charged with acting against national security and propaganda against the regime by Branch 1 of the Revolutionary Court in Urmia and was sentenced to 5 years and 6 months imprisonment.
