HRANA News Agency – The medical treatment of Hossain Ronaghi Maleki, political prisoner who has recently been transferred to ward number 7 of Evin prison is suspended.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), despite the recommendation of physicians and repetitive requests of the family of Hossain Ronaghi regarding his transfer to the hospital, it has been refused by prison authorities so far.
Hossain Ronaghi’s mother told HRANA’s reporter, “They know about Hossain’s situation and that was the reason of his last furlough. We have submitted the medical documents to persecutor, but it has been useless.”
Hossain Ronaghi Maleki who was in ward number 350 of Evin prison, was temporarily released due to his sever appendix problems and danger of losing them, different reasons were mentioned for this release, like order of exemption from serving sentence, supreme leader pardon and medical furlough. But he was summoned again for unknown reason last January and jailed.
His mother said, “they have not explained why he was summoned. He could not do anything except medical cares. It was supposed to be an interrogation and they did not tell me that he should go back to prison.”
She wishes freedom for all young innocent people and her least demand from judicial authorities, is that his son could get furlough that could finish his medical treatments in a hospital outside the prison.
Accoding to HRANA, this human rights activist and political prisoner is kept among non-political prisoners in ward number 7, which has caused more concerns about the condition of Hossain Ronaghi Maleki, due to lack of proper facilities and special situation of Hossain Ronaghi.
