HRANA News Agency – Hamid Karvasi, political prisoner in ward 350 of Evin prison, has been released recently.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency in Iran (HRANA), Hamid Karvasi’s three-year-imprisonment sentence ended on Wednesday 5^th August and this political prisoner was released.
Hamid Karvasi, 45, prisoner in ward 350 of Evin Prison, who was sentenced to 3 years imprisonment during the post-election protests in 2009, in 2012 was sent to Evin prison to endure his imprisonment sentence.
This prisoner was arrested outside his work place in Hamedan by the intelligence forces, after Ashura in 2009 and then after going to his house for inspecting and search, he was transferred to the detention center of the intelligence office in Hamedan and he was interrogated there. After 10 days, the Court in Hamedan approved his temporary release on the bail.
