HRANA News Agency – The condition of Farzad Poormoradi, journalist and political prisoner of Diesel Abad prison is reported to be critical. He has been arrested on January 3, by the IRGC and has been transferred to Diesel Abad prison in Kermanshah, last week.
According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), Farzad Poormoradi, media activist and the member of the information committee of Dr. Hasan Rouhani’s campaign in Kermanshah, has been transferred to the prison clinic due to a heart disease on January 26, and despite the recommendation of the physicians to transfer him to a hospital, he is still being kept in the clinic.
A close source to him told to HRANA’s reporter, “the officials in the IRGC are preventing him from being transferred to a hospital.”
According to this source, Farzad Poormoradi had been under the supervision of the specialist physician for medical treatment of his heart disease during last year.
Farzad Poormoradi was arrested on Sunday, January 3, when he wanted to leave his house by, and after investigating the house and taking some of his personal accessories, he was transferred to an unknown location.
Judge Almasi, vice prosecutor of branch number 16 of the revolutionary court of Kermanshah, charged this journalist with disturbing the public opinion and roorback. Close sources to Mr. Poormoradi are rejecting this allegation.
He has not been able to have a lawyer yet.
This journalist had created a channel in Telegram, and was active in the field of parliament elections news. Radical media were accusing him of subversive and divisive actions.
Farzad Poormoradi, political and media activist, was announced as the head of the information committee of Dr. Hasan Rouhani’s campaign in Kermanshah province. He is currently kept in ward number 10 of Diesel Abad prison. Ward number 10 is one the worst wards where the dangerous criminals are being kept in.
