According to the report of Human Rights Activists News Agency (HRANA), a close source to Shojaei family told HRANA’s reporter, “5 years certain, 5 years conditional sentence and 5 years deprivation from leaving the country of Mohammad Shojaei was confirmed after two and half months in the parallel branch, by judge Poorarab”.

This informed source also said, “despite the hardship in transportation, Shojaei’s family were constantly following up his case and has been in branch number 54 of the revolutionary court many times. Most of the times they were going to the court in the morning until Mr. Poorarab would come. Secretaries of the court were saying that Mr. Poorarab would not be coming before 2pm. They really suffered through this period. Mr. Poorarab promised them that Mohammad would be released and even signed his freedom order, but finally got afraid of the intelligent service and did not fulfill his promises”.
HRANA had previously reported that Mohammad Shojaei, flight engineer of Homa and Mahan airlines, was arrested by the intelligent service forces on February 4, 2012.
He was sentenced to 5 conditional years and 5 certain years in prison and 5 years deprivation from leaving the country by judge Salavati, on charge of cooperation with conflicting governments.
